My love for theme parks stems from my first trip to Tokyo Disney as a child. As a young adult, I left my home in Tokyo and moved to Orlando, Florida to pursue my passion. My frequent global traveling as well as my unique cultural background strongly influence my work. My design approach is enhanced by my interior design education and experiences including knowledge of international building codes. In my design approach, I have a strong ability to foresee the guests’ physical and emotional experience. 
I strongly believe every detail matters, from focal points to lighting and props. A designer must diligently and quickly assess all the features that will immerse the guest in a different time period, geographical location or imaginary space. I thrive on these challenges, and work best under immense pressure. 
My experience and passion help maintain a balance of speed, quality and accuracy. Being a theme park designer is a dream come true, and I will always go the distance to create a magical experience.
